Jesus delivers us from sin, breaking down the walls of hostility not only between us and God but also between each other and between people groups. Jesus establishes God’s Kingdom, restoring one humanity, amazingly diverse but unified by His Spirit and His Word— God’s family all ransomed and reconciled by one Savior. From the beginning Jesus called people to himself, bypassing the war of religions. As God brings into the fold his children from all nations, global worship and prayer rises for the fulfillment of the Great Commission, and for time when people from every clan, tribe, tongue and nation will be together before God’s Throne.
